TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has incarcerated a former president-director of Lippo Cikarang, Bartholomeus Toto, on Wednesday, Nov 20, for his purported impasse in a Meikarta graft case.
“The think BTO from a private zone is incarcerated during a KPK jail for his initial 20 days,” pronounced KPK orator Febri Diansyah on Nov 20.
The anti-corruption watchdog suspects Toto of handing an Rp10.5 billion cheat to Bekasi Regent Neneng Hasanah Yasin – who’s now a former monarch as Neneng has been handed 6-years seizure for usurpation bribery. The swindle was primarily directed to smoothen one of Lippo Group’s mega housing projects.
During his arrest, Bartholomeus Toto maintains that he never handed any income to Neneng and strongly thinks that he had been framed and done as a victim by Lippo Cikarang’s conduct of land acquisition, Edi Dwi Soesianto.
Bartholomeus says he has filed a military news opposite what he calls an try to slander him. “I have been framed and being incited into a scapegoat.”
