Maudy Ayunda on chasing dreams: ‘Be authentic’

Indonesian thespian and singer Maudy Ayunda says certainty and staying loyal to yourself are pivotal to achieving goals, as good as pulling off good style. 

“I consider it’s critical to be confident, also to be authentic first. Be genuine with what we do,” Maudy said. 

As a new face of Pomelo, Maudy was vocalization during a Thailand-based conform label’s Fall Collection launch in Jakarta final week, that took a thesis “Chase The Dream”. 

In a universe where amicable media has turn a large partial of daily life, Maudy remarkable it was easier to remove steer and turn dreaming from previously set goals.

“It’s critical to demeanour within, know who we are and be loyal to ourselves in whatever we do,” she added.

The same goes for fashion, Maudy said, adding that being authentic could make an outfit work on a personal level.

The 22-year-old Oxford connoisseur donned from Pomelo’s newest collection a grey blazer, that she wore with a relating oversized belt and flared pantsuit that cut off mid-calf.

On her personal style, Maudy pronounced she likes to play with shape, cut and textures, preferring to make a matter by a neat conformation rather than motifs. (asw)
