A pattern auction, featuring a few singular and standout pieces by a late designer Zaha Hadid, will take place during one of Europe’s largest auction houses, Palais Dorotheum in Vienna, on Jun 20, 2017.

The “Design First” auction focuses on radical designs from a 1960s. Besides pieces designed by Hadid, works from pattern organisation Superstudio and Austrian designer Adolf Loos are also adult for bidding. Hadid’s “Project in Red” sofa, that is a partial of her Wave Collection and was presented during Milan’s nightclub Studio 54 in Sep 1988, is a highlight. Another pattern by Hadid that will be in a auction includes a span of “Monsoon” seats, that were custom-made in a 1990s for a Monsoon Restaurant in Sapporo, Japan. The other Zaha pieces embody a tea and coffee set, as good as an charcoal “Ordrupgaard Bench.”

The equipment are now on perspective during a site before a auction tomorrow. Bidders can also bid online on a Palais Dorotheum’s website, that ends in a few hours.
